Memphis, TN

The World’s Most Dedicated Never Give Up

There’s a reason St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is recognized as a great place to work. Because at our world-class pediatric research hospital, every one of our professionals shares our commitment to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. There’s a unique bond when you’re part of a team that gives their all to advance the treatments and cures of pediatric catastrophic diseases. The result is a collaborative, positive environment where everyone, regardless of their role, receives the resources, support and encouragement to advance and grow their careers and be the force behind the cures.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a Scientist or Senior Scientist to join our Center for Advanced Genome Engineering (CAGE).

You will stay up to date on current CRISPR screening technologies and adapt and incorporate them into current workflows to aid St. Jude investigators with their research. Duties will also include designing, cloning, and analyzing CRISPR libraries designed for knockout, inhibition, and activation screens. You will help fellow team members with their own designs and analyses. Your experience will also be used for developing and implementing bioinformatic workflows which aid CAGE lab members in CRISPR design and NGS analysis.

Successful candidates should display competencies in the following areas:

  • Understanding of and experience with molecular biology techniques including DNA and RNA extractions, PCR, and plasmid cloning
