Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and direct daily activities of staff within own area (e.g. Echo Sonography, MRI & CT, Interventional Radiology, Advanced Imagin) to meet department and customer requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory via ongoing inventory counts and ordering supplies for the department as needed; address shortages/bottlenecks.
- Monitor and maintain availability, functionality, and proper utilization of imaging equipment and technologies.
- Assist in updating assigned sections of the procedure and preventive maintenance manuals to reflect current practices. Monitor and maintain availability, functionality, and proper utilization of imaging equipment and technologies.
- Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and equipment purchases as needed, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor adherence to quality assurance protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, and address deviations.
- Drive accurate and timely documentation as required.
- Track and report metrics to relevant leadership teams.
- Assist in planning and monitoring of overall team plans and budgets.
- Train and mentor teams around systems and processes within diagnostic & imaging area.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 7+ years of relevant experience (e.g., routine radiographic and interventional procedures, electrocardiographic/echocardiographic testing, radiology information systems or picture archiving and communication systems) required OR Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Substantial experience in diagnostic imaging modalities, procedures, and equipment.
- Demonstrated success managing teams/ resources/ timelines preferred.
- Experience providing broader mentorship within and across teams preferred.
- Proven performance in earlier role/comparable role.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by SJCRH Only:
- One of the following is required:
- Registration as a Radiography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $78,000 - $139,360 per year for the role of Supv-Diagnostic Imaging Operations (X-ray).Explore our exceptional benefits!
