Our Financial Services Team is hiring a Lead WORKDAY PAYROLL Finance Analyst. If you have WORKDAY PAYROLL Finance experience, this may be the opportunity for you!
The Lead WORKDAY PAYROLL Finance Analyst plays a key role in supporting and enhancing St. Jude's financial systems and technologies.
This role involves collaborating with finance and IT teams to optimize financial processes, troubleshoot system issues, and implement upgrades for Workday Payroll

Job Responsibilities:
  • Independently lead financial systems projects, including selection, planning, organization, testing, training, customization, and communication of new systems and technology solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and vision of departmental strategies in partnership with key stakeholders and Finance peers.
  • Serve as an advocate and liaison between finance users/customers, IT support, vendors, and other technical support for financial systems.
  • Identify and analyze problems/issues and assist in implementing solutions; Simplify and summarize complicated processes, procedures, and issues for a more lay audience.
  • Update and maintain dashboards based on agreed-upon timelines; review trends, communicate concerns, and suggest improvements and metrics for dashboards.
  • Ensure that documentation for assigned financial systems and projects, including minutes, contracts, and other documents outside standard procedures and training, is updated and maintained.
  • Collaborate with all areas of Financial Services to facilitate timely project completion; continuously seek ways to improve existing processes to accommodate evolving business requests.
  • Mentor team members to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.


Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.


Minimum Experience:
 

  • 5+ years of accounting-related experience required
  • Experience with Workday Payroll required (i.e., Workday conversion and implementation, and/or several years of designing, building, and testing Payroll configuration and in Workday).
  • Experience with Workday reporting and other enterprise reporting tools for the development of reports as applicable required
  • Strong experience with accounting systems, processes, and terminology.
  • Some experience planning and managing delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including mid to senior-level business leaders.
  • Proven performance in earlier role.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $94,640 - $169,520 per year for the role of Lead Workday Payroll Finance Analyst.
