The Administrative Specialist will handle confidential information with maturity and discretion. He/She must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities with conscientious attention to detail.
In order to be successful in this role He/She will coordinate administrative support for project management. Ensure timely and cost effective completion of administrative details. Under minimal supervision, but in accordance with established policies and procedures, provide administrative services for departments. Anticipate, initiate, coordinate and follow up on administrative activities and other special projects. May have the functional responsibility for providing direction to other administrative staff. The scope and complexity of this position is such that the Administrative Specialist is regularly dealing with diverse matters which require extensive knowledge of the department's area of responsibility. Possess the ability to handle sensitive situations in a mature and confidential manner.
